Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of the Guard0 platform, including all associated services, products, and features offered by Rakshan AI Inc. ("Guard0," "we," or "us"). This AUP applies to all users of Guard0, regardless of subscription tier (Free, Team, or Enterprise). By accessing or using Guard0, you agree to comply with this AUP in its entirety. This policy is incorporated by reference into the Guard0 Terms of Service, and any violation of this AUP constitutes a material breach of the Terms of Service.
2. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to engage in any of the following activities while using Guard0:
2.1 Unauthorized Access and Security Violations
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any portion or feature of Guard0
- Bypassing, circumventing, or disabling any security or authentication mechanisms
- Accessing Guard0 with credentials that do not belong to you or that you are not authorized to use
- Probing, scanning, or testing the security of Guard0 systems without prior written consent
- Exploiting any vulnerability in the Guard0 platform
2.2 Intellectual Property and Reverse Engineering
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to derive source code from Guard0
- Scraping, crawling, or otherwise automated extraction of data from Guard0 (except as explicitly permitted by Guard0's API terms)
- Data mining Guard0 content, features, or functionality
- Copying, reproducing, or replicating Guard0 technology or methodology for competitive purposes
2.3 Account Abuse and Circumvention
- Creating multiple free accounts to circumvent usage limits, feature restrictions, or subscription requirements
- Using automated tools or techniques to circumvent fair usage policies
- Sharing account credentials with unauthorized third parties
- Allowing others to access your account without authorization
- Using another person's account or payment method without consent
2.4 Illegal and Harmful Activities
- Using Guard0 for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Transmitting, uploading, or storing malware, viruses, spyware, ransomware, or other harmful code or files
- Transmitting content that is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise unlawful
- Facilitating or engaging in harassment, threats, stalking, or abuse
- Violating the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties
2.5 Service Disruption and Interference
- Attempting to disrupt, degrade, or impair the operation or availability of Guard0
- Launching denial-of-service (DoS) attacks or other attacks designed to overwhelm Guard0 systems
- Interfering with other users' use and enjoyment of Guard0
- Overloading Guard0 infrastructure with excessive requests or traffic
- Engaging in any activity that imposes unreasonable burden on Guard0's systems or resources
2.6 Offensive Security Operations
- Using Guard0 to conduct offensive security operations, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, or similar activities against third parties without explicit prior written authorization from the target organization
- Using Guard0 to discover, exploit, or weaponize vulnerabilities in systems you do not own or operate, except within authorized security research frameworks
- Launching attacks, scanning, or probing third-party systems from within Guard0
2.7 Misrepresentation of AI-Generated Outputs
- Misrepresenting AI-generated content, analyses, or recommendations as human-generated analysis
- Presenting Guard0 outputs as the independent judgment or analysis of human experts or professionals in a manner that could mislead third parties or cause harm
- Failing to disclose when Guard0-generated content is used in communications with third parties where such disclosure is necessary to avoid material deception
2.8 Spam and Commercial Abuse
- Using Guard0 to generate, transmit, or facilitate spam, unsolicited bulk communications, or phishing
- Using Guard0 as a platform for marketing, advertising, or promoting products or services without prior written consent
- Using Guard0 to send communications designed to deceive or manipulate recipients
2.9 Unauthorized Resale and Redistribution
- Reselling, sublicensing, time-sharing, or otherwise redistributing access to Guard0 without prior written authorization
- Offering Guard0 services to third parties as your own service
- Creating a competing service based on Guard0
2.10 Export Control and Legal Compliance
- Using Guard0 in violation of U.S. export control laws, sanctions regulations, or similar laws in your jurisdiction
- Using Guard0 to facilitate transactions with, or provide services to, sanctioned countries, organizations, or individuals
- Using Guard0 in any manner that violates applicable law, regulation, or court order
3. Usage Limits
Usage limits for the Free tier of Guard0 are published and regularly updated on guard0.ai/pricing. All users on the Free tier are subject to these limits, which may include restrictions on API calls, storage, features, or computational resources.
Guard0 reserves the right to modify, adjust, or enforce usage limits at any time, with or without advance notice. Updated limits will be made available on our website. If you exceed applicable usage limits, Guard0 may implement one or more of the following measures: rate limiting, throttling your requests, temporarily suspending service, or permanently terminating your account.
4. Monitoring and Enforcement
4.1 Right to Monitor
Guard0 reserves the right to monitor usage patterns, account activity, and platform activity to detect and prevent violations of this AUP. This monitoring may include automated detection systems, manual review, and investigation of suspected violations.
4.2 Right to Investigate
Upon discovering or suspecting a violation of this AUP, Guard0 may investigate your account, usage patterns, and any associated activity. You agree to cooperate fully with any such investigation and to provide information or documentation as requested.
4.3 Remedies and Enforcement Actions
Guard0 may take one or more of the following enforcement actions in response to violations:
- Issuing a written warning
- Throttling or rate-limiting your account
- Suspending or disabling access to specific features
- Temporarily suspending your account
- Permanently terminating your account and access to Guard0
- Pursuing legal action to recover damages or seek injunctive relief
- Reporting illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities
4.4 Discretion
Guard0 has sole discretion in determining whether a violation has occurred and in selecting appropriate enforcement actions. The remedies listed above are not exhaustive and Guard0 may pursue additional remedies available under law or contract.
5. Reporting Violations
If you believe another user or account has violated this AUP, or if you become aware of any activity that may be harmful to Guard0 or its users, please report it to us immediately at legal@guard0.ai. Provide as much detail as possible, including:
- Description of the suspected violation
- Account username(s) or email(s) involved
- Specific actions or behaviors observed
- Dates, times, and any supporting evidence
Guard0 will investigate reports in a timely manner and take appropriate action.
6. Modifications to This Policy
Guard0 may update, modify, or amend this AUP at any time. Notice of material changes will be posted on the Guard0 website at guard0.ai, and the "last updated" date will be revised accordingly. Your continued use of Guard0 following the posting of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified AUP. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to remain informed of our acceptable use standards.
